Daniel December 31, 2022 for Model Number PT970SR2SS My oven control board is no longer made. This is for a Micro/oven combo unit. Original board number is WB27T11294. Would this board WB27T10566 be compatible? Visually is looks exactly the same, and seems to be the fix to the problem I am having with my oven. Any help would be appreciated. Or if you know of any part that would be compatible. Thanks Daniel M for Model Number PT970SR2SS ANSWER Daniel M, This part has been discontinued by the manufacturer & is no longer available. No alternate or substitute part has been recommended by the manufacturer Just a follow up. I installed WB27T10566 since I had no real other options but to try it. It was an exact match and is working like new again.
1 Answer Daniel, Unfortunately, with the control board having been discontinued, there would be no suitable replacement available. Read More...

Mark October 05, 2022 for Model Number JT965SKSS The unit is 2006 vintage GE Profile microwave/oven wall unit. Microwave works fine. None of the oven modes produce any heat (bake, convection, broil). The oven control lights up and appears to work. All three heating elements measure about 20 ohms, temp sensor measures 1100 ohms which I believe is ok. One side of each of the three heating elements goes to an Orange wire that from ohming it out goes to "TB2" on the oven control (GE part number WB27T10566). TB2 only measures 6 ohms to oven chassis ground. Disconnecting the large orange wire at TB2 the 6 ohms to ground is at the control board. The wire side measures open to chassis ground. I am thinking I have bad control board and that this should not be shorted to ground. Thoughts?
1 Answer Mark, it is correct that the control board should not have continuity to ground through a voltage supply connection going to a heating unit and this could cause failures in operation. Read More...
Phil January 12, 2022 for Model Number JT965 - 30 the oven control module [ WB27T10566 / AP3792718 ] works but the number lights are very dim - extremely hard to see the settings --- does the led light have an adjustment to make the display brighter?
1 Answer Hello Phil, if the display is dimming, then the control board would need to be replaced. Read More...
Boyd A December 17, 2019 for Model Number JT965SOK4SS This is an electric wall oven microwave combo. Oven and microwave lights and push buttons work. Oven won't heat. Elements OHM good with OHM meter. I'm only getting 120V power from one of the two wires that connect to the broiler element (the only wires I checked). I have 120V leaving both breakers at my breaker panel. I haven't pulled the oven yet to confirm there are no power issues going into the oven and I don't think there will be.
1 Answer Boyd, If you do not have the proper power to the elements then the issue will be a faulty control board on the unit. Read More...
Boyd A December 17, 2019 for Model Number JT965SOK4SS I found this info and it directly relates to my problem. I have good elements per OHM test. I am only getting 120V power from one leg on wires that connect to the elements. I have checked my breaker and power leaving the breaker is fine. I haven't pulled the oven yet to check for power issues from wall to oven. All oven and microwave panel lights and touch buttons work fine. This is a micro?oven combo , micro works fine -- oven not , you can program a temp set point press start and nothing happens , no increase in temp in oven at all, Model Number JT965SOK4SS Answer- You will want to check to make sure that you have proper power supply to the unit. If you are loosing one leg of power to the unit then the microwave may still work and the oven part will not. If this checks ok then the most likely cause for the failure would be the oven control board.
1 Answer Hello Boyd, 240v 1 power to the oven elements goes thru the control board, L2 (red) goes to a double line break relay that closes in any oven operation and goes out to the bake//broil elements together, L1 (black ) goes separately into the bake and broil relays, use a multimeter and check which 120v side is missing. John October 12, 2019 for Model Number JT965-30S0K4SS Microwave works, lower oven panel does not light up at all. So no way to control oven. Vent fan runs without stopping when power is available. I have tripped the circuit breaker to prevent vent fan from running. Suspect I need to replace lower oven control?. Thanks John
1 Answer John, in regards to the vent fan operating constantly, this would be an indicator of a failed thermal switch allowing the fan to have a complete circuit to neutral, or a wire has grounded out. With the power turned off, this can be tested for continuity to find which one is the case. In regards to the oven control WB27T10566, it will need to be tested for incoming 120VAC and if it has 120VAC, then it has failed. Read More...

Kdub April 03, 2013 for Model Number JT965SF3SS I think I need to replace the oven control (not for microwave), but first I want to check the control for power. I do not want to destroy anything so can you describe how to remove the control panel?
1 Answer Kdub, To remove the control panel, open the microwave door and remove the 2 screws holding the control panel. Slide the control to the left and swing down. This will access both control boards. Read More...
