Jerry September 26, 2013 for Model Number GE Profile PSS26sgpass Side by Side Refrig stopped cooling both freezer and refrig sides. Condenser was not on. cool to the touch. Pulled plug and sat for day replugged and condenser was working. Hours later it stopped again. I check J2 Pin 3 & 5 and had 5.3 VDC. Thought maybe main board but when I took off and shoot the start relay there was some rattling so could it be the relay and not the main board?
1 Answer Hello Jerry. They can rattle and be good. Low voltage means you will need to change the board on the unit if the correct voltage is coming into the board. Read More...

1 Answer Hello Mike. The ptcr WR07X10057 is the relay for the compressor. It should read closed for continuity across each terminal in line. If one is open, it is bad and will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
