The Oven Rack is an OEM part for GE ranges, providing a sturdy and reliable platform for baking and roasting a variety of dishes. Its design allows for easy placement and removal from the oven, offering flexibility in cooking heights and accommodating different sizes of bakeware.

Causes of a bad Oven Rack can range from excessive weight being placed on the rack, exposure to high moisture levels leading to rust, or simply the age-related wear and tear that comes from regular use.

Symptoms of a bad Oven Rack include:

  • Warping or bending, which can prevent the rack from sitting level in the oven and affect cooking performance.
  • Rust or corrosion, which can weaken the rack's structure and potentially contaminate food.
  • Difficulty sliding the rack in and out, which may indicate damage or misalignment.

This OEM GE part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.
