Scott C October 18, 2017 In the video for the GE dishwasher Roller Bearing Cage, you do not mention which is the front or back of the part when bending the sides. It appears that there is a difference on each side so I would assume it does matter. If not, you need to mention it doesn’t matter which way you bend it!!! Please help as I am waiting with the parts to repair my dishwasher thinking I had all that I neede to repair.
1 Answer Scott, It does not make a difference as to which way that the bearing cage is bent as they will work either way. Read More...
Louis P. May 07, 2016 Detailed installation information. Once the part is installed, it keeps sliding out.
1 Answer Louis, There are no detailed instructions for the bearing cage. But it's not that difficult. Remove the front track stop, slide the rack forward until the front rollers clear the track then insert the cage into the track and reverse the procedure. Before you install the cage, you need to bend the top and bottom portions of the cage(where the ball bearings are located so they fit in the top and bottom of the track, when you insert the cage you may have to "bend" the assembly slightly. once you have everything installed and the stop reinstalled slide the rack all the way in and out several times, this will align everything, and you should be fine.
