Charles December 21, 2018 for Model Number WJRE5550K2WW Replaced tub seal and it still leaks out underneath. Is the plastic washer supposed to be next to the bearing? mine has about 1/4 inch gap between. am going to change bearing because noisy
1 Answer Charles, The space will not make a difference as long as the tub seal is seated properly. Also check the the tub for cracks with it still leaking. Read More...
Michael L August 26, 2015 for Model Number GTWN5050M0WS The agitator seems to come off the shaft too easily. Is it supposed to be screwed on? Thank you.
1 Answer Michael, The agitator just pushes down over the agitator coupling and locks in around it. You may need to push really hard on it to get it to lock in place. If it will not lock in place then the agitator would be the most likely cause for the issue. Read More...
Susi September 05, 2014 for Model Number WPRE6150K2WT I am putting my washer back together after replacing the shaft. I am putting the screw on the pulsator but it isn't screwing in all the way. There's a space in between the two. I have a washer under the pulsator, the pulsator, screw, and 3 o rings. How do I get it to screw down properly so there's it a space for hair and gunk to pile up?
1 Answer Hello Susi. You should be able to tighten the screw all the way down if it is not cross threaded. Check and make sure it is not and all parts are installed into the unit. Read More...
Marc May 09, 2014 for Model Number GTWN4950LOWS I am replacing the screw that holds on the pulsator. It comes with a flat washer and a o-ring. Could you please tell me where the o-ring goes? Above the pulsator (below the flat washer), or below the pulsator (after I insert the screw into the pulsator)?
