The Lower Door Seal is an OEM replacement part for GE dishwashers. Located along the bottom edge of the dishwasher door, this rubber seal creates an airtight barrier when closed to prevent leaks during wash cycles.

Causes of a faulty lower door seal often involve normal deterioration of rubber over extended use, allowing cracks to form and reducing its flexibility.

Symptoms of an inadequate lower door seal include:

  • Puddles or water leaks beneath the appliance
  • Mineral deposits left behind after drying cycles
  • Inability to maintain optimal interior humidity
  • Gaps appearing along the bottom door perimeter

This OEM GE replacement seal is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.
