Hello MJ, the control panel may be in child-lock mode, to lock/unlock press the HEATED DRY pad for 3 seconds, or the control may be DEMO mode and to exit it press START and HEATED DRY for 5 seconds.

Galen, To replace the striker latch you would need to remove the screws from the interior door and lift up on the inner door panel. This will give access to the strike.

Jay, the outer door panel is the part that would be removed to access the inside of the door. To do this, you will need to remove the screws located at the bottom of the door that are holding the outer panel up. Once you remove these two screws, the outer panel will slide down and off of the door assembly. This will give you access to the interior of the door to change out the strike.
