I have to remove my glass top from my cooktop to change the Spark Module that I will order from you but I need to get a list of parts that may need to go with the spark module replacement/installation. Do I need this part? My model is a GE ZGU661 ES1WG. Thanks!
1 Answer Floyd, the cooktop inst kit asm WB02X26088 is the cooktop seal and foam tape. It is not needed to replace the spark module. The spark module is part number WB20X133. We have a video available on our site to assist you with the installation. Thanks. Read More...
Dennis October 25, 2013 for Model Number Kenmore 790.4422 New cooktop does not fit flush on granite countertop due to clips holding cooktop glass to cooktop metal case. This has created a gap between the cooktop glass underside and the countertop that will allow boilover spills to get beneath the cooktop and into cabinet space below cooktop. Can I use some type of heat resistant sticky one-sided foam tape to fill the gap? If so, what do I need to use and where can I get it?
1 Answer Dennis, You can use a foam tape but it does not have to be heat resistant as the outer section will not become hot enough to cause an issue. You can use part number TJMA-FT1. Read More...
