John October 14, 2016 I'm looking to install a GE Coil Cook top, Model, JP328BKBB on a granite cooktop. I'm replacing a glass cooktop, model JP350BOC1BB. There are no mounting brackets or anything. Just appears to be silicon/foam tape. Can I use the foam tape to install the new countertop, and if so, which foam tape should I order?
1 Answer Hello John. They do not show any listed for the model number you provided. You should be able to go to your local hardware store and pick up a roll of foam tape for the unit. Read More...

Barbara June 25, 2016 for Model Number 110-85861400 Electric dryer Before I can complete my dryer repair, I need to replace all the foam seal tape, which totals about 12 feet total. All I have seen available for purchase anywhere is the one to go around the blower. I have been told to use weather stripping by someone who was supposed to know what they were talking about. I just can't find ANYWHERE that has a Length of foam tape seal you can purchase. Can you PLEASE help me??? I have been without a dryer for several months now, and it is extremely difficult when you work full time. I just need to know what to do, what to use, to replace it. It Must be replaced, because it is all worn out and dry-rotted. An answer ASAP would be much appreciated!!
1 Answer Barbara, On this unit we are not showing any foam tape that would be needed that is 12 ft in length but is a double sided tape that is 25' roll 876491 that is normally used between cooktops and countertops that may work for the unit. Read More...

Russell January 05, 2015 for Model Number PGS975WEM4WW The front glass fell off my GE Profile stove. I see that a similar question was asked/answered on January 9, 2013. The answer given was to use a double sided tape made by whirlpool part #3191239. Is this still the recommended fix to my GE Profile Problem ? Is there a GE produced double sided tape ? Thank You in advance for your help, Russell
1 Answer Russell, When installing a front glass on a range it is not necessary to install double sided tape. GE does not have double sided tape for use with this. Read More...
Jeff October 28, 2014 for Model Number Ge Profile gas cooktop JGP641 EM1 Wg I need to clean the vent grill and filter or replace them. Can't figure out how to remove vent grill to get to filter. Are the parts even available to replace if they are too far gone (older house we purchased)? Is there a video available to see how to do this? thanks, Jeff
1 Answer Hello Jeff. Sorry, there is no video. To remove the filters, raise the vent to the fully extended position. Remove the front grille by pulling the top edge forward and lifting away the panel. Lift out the two filters. Clean the filters by agitating in a hot detergent solution or wash them in the dishwasher. The efficiency of the vent system depends on how clean the filters are. The filters can become soiled in a short time and should be cleaned frequently for best performance. After cleaning, replace the filters and the front grille. Read More...

Sa September 01, 2014 for Model Number JGP933WEC2WW My GE Profile cooktop (JGP933WEC2WW) has become loose. I'm assuming I need to remove it and replace the foam tape. I haven't located PN AP3415963 tape so I'm hoping this one will work. I also have one burner where the igniter doesn't work when using that burner knob and I'm looking for which parts to replace. It will ignite if using another knob for the igniter while turning on the gas for that burner.
1 Answer SA, The most likely cause for the igniter to not work when you use the knob for that burner would be a faulty ignition switch. As for the foam tape this one will work for your unit. Read More...
Bruce April 07, 2014 for Model Number ps900dp2ww Will wb2x9902 foam tape work to secure the front door outer glass on this electric range? I see it is used for cook tops.
1 Answer Bruce, There is not any foam tape that secures the front door outer glass to the rest of the door. There are foam pads for the door as a spacer which is part number WB01T10052. When the door is put together there are 3 screws at the bottom and then the door handle screws also help to hold in place. Read More...
