Barbara for Model Number 110-85861400 Electric dryer

Before I can complete my dryer repair, I need to replace all the foam seal tape, which totals about 12 feet total. All I have seen available for purchase anywhere is the one to go around the blower. I have been told to use weather stripping by someone who was supposed to know what they were talking about. I just can't find ANYWHERE that has a Length of foam tape seal you can purchase. Can you PLEASE help me??? I have been without a dryer for several months now, and it is extremely difficult when you work full time. I just need to know what to do, what to use, to replace it. It Must be replaced, because it is all worn out and dry-rotted. An answer ASAP would be much appreciated!!

Russell, When installing a front glass on a range it is not necessary to install double sided tape. GE does not have double sided tape for use with this.

Hello Jeff. Sorry, there is no video. To remove the filters, raise the vent to the fully extended position. Remove the front grille by pulling the top edge forward and lifting away the panel. Lift out the two filters. Clean the filters by agitating in a hot detergent solution or wash them in the dishwasher. The efficiency of the vent system depends on how clean the filters are. The filters can become soiled in a short time and should be cleaned frequently for best performance. After cleaning, replace the filters and the front grille.

SA, The most likely cause for the igniter to not work when you use the knob for that burner would be a faulty ignition switch. As for the foam tape this one will work for your unit.

Bruce, There is not any foam tape that secures the front door outer glass to the rest of the door. There are foam pads for the door as a spacer which is part number WB01T10052. When the door is put together there are 3 screws at the bottom and then the door handle screws also help to hold in place.
