The Terminal Block Assembly is an OEM replacement part for GE electric stoves. It acts as the central wiring connection hub, routing power to critical heating components such as the oven bake/broil elements and stovetop burners.

Symptoms of a bad terminal block include:

  • Intermittent or unpredictable burner/heating element operation
  • Inability to achieve proper cooking temperatures
  • Buzzing or crackling noises from inside the stove cabinet

Causes stem from normal wear over time, as vibration and heat cycling can cause cracks or corrosion in the block's electrical connections.

This OEM GE part is compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore electric stove models.

Jerry for Model Number JBP82CH1CC

Two parts of my GE elec range don't appear to be working, and they both went out at the same time yesterday. ------The oven doesn't heat---neither bake or broil; and the stove top elements don't heat---none of them. ----However, the oven (and clock etc) control touch pad panel appears to have power---lights up, appears to take commands/ input, the clock works, etc----and the rotary switches for each of the stove top elements seem to have power----the indicator lights light up when I turn them to the "on" positions for heating. ---Note; So far, I tried disconnecting the plug for a few minutes and put it back in, and still have the problem. ---------thanks -Jerry unit is GE elect range JBP82CH1CC

Hello Jerry. Either the terminal block is burnt, bad power cord, or the breaker is bad and you are only getting 120 volts.

Hello Sue. You will need to cut the burnt part off the wire and crimp on a new terminal. Then install the wire onto the terminal block assembly WB17T10011. Hope this helps.
