Victor May 09, 2015 for Model Number WM2016CW Why is it that the Spider screw is described as a tapping screw and the part # does not reference to the part that is needed to attach the spider to the drum?

Frank F March 27, 2013 for Model Number lg wm2487hrma I am having trouble with part #ap4436414 becoming loose which causes tub not to spin. After tightning repeatedly same thing happens. Also have tried applying locktight to no resolve.

Giles November 22, 2012 for Model Number LG wm1812cw My washer is smoking a little and letting of a bad smell, I found a small strip of light grey "rubber band" wrapped up in the pump motor which I suspect came from somewhere in the machine. I am trying to remove the motor from the back of the drum. How can I hold the drum while loosening the bolt without damaging anything, and is it a reverse thread. Any help based on the info I gave you would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Giles
1 Answer Hello Giles, The threading on the motor bolt is standard threading. You should be able to loosen the bolt without having to support the tub. Read More...
