Pam July 08, 2020 for Model Number LFX31945ST/05 I am wanting to purchase the MCK66585116 Cover replacement for my fridge since ours has chipped off on the bottom and looks awful. Are there any tutorial videos available to show how to take the old cover off to replace? I don't want to damage the control board or anything else.
1 Answer Pam, To replace the display cover you will need to remove the dispenser assembly. To do this, remove the drip tray and place your hand on the bottom where the tray was. Serial Numb 306KRPV04816 Hello, I have a LFX33975ST/03 LG refrigerator and the digital display clear cover has peeled up from the bottom and is black underneath as though it over heated. The numbers and displays all work, but cosmetically it looks bad and I would like to replace that. What is the part number and cost to replace this and is it as simple as using a putty knife to pry up the tabs to get remove the old and install the new? I’m fairly handy if I have good instructions. With the power cord to the appliance unplugged, the putty knife will be used to release the locking tabs of the entire dispenser cover assembly ACQ85430239 so that it may be pulled forward away from the door. 1 Answer Tony, To remove the dispenser assembly you will need to remove the drip tray, once you remove the tray you would need to push down on the area where the drip tray was and pull straight out. Once you remove the dispenser you will be able to access the display to cover to remove it. Then, holding the inner side of the dispenser pull forward to remove. If the nozzle is interfering with the button, push and pull out the bottom of button. Remove the lead wire. Frank July 15, 2019 for Model Number LMXS30776S/03 The plastic cover has come off the touch screen of the fridge and it has taken off part of the word Alarm at the bottom. Do you have a cover to replace.
