Robert August 27, 2019 for Model Number Whirlpool Microwave--AMV2307PFS-2 I need to convert the venting from internal to go through the wall venting. Thinking I need the damper and what other parts? I purchased a wall vent kit 3 1/4" by 10" that has a damper already on it but I am thinking there is a venting "flange" which would attach to the microwave, once I turn the fans around, and then attach to the wall vent kit?

Michael B. December 13, 2011 for Model Number 721.86013010 I purchased a adapter and damper for roof vent, but don't know how to assemble them ?
1 Answer Hi Michael. The flapper has 2 - tabs on each end. You will place this damper flap into the inside of the damper mount where the holes are to align the flap. Then you will need to remove the Microwave cover and rotate and re bolt the fan motor assy. so while in use, it will blow out -up towards the ceiling or the position you choose.
