1 Answer Hello Kan, If your model number is actually LFX23961ST you should replace 6615JB2005C defrost temp sensor and the main control board EBR41956101. Read More...
Paul December 09, 2014 for Model Number LDC22720ST Getting a 567 code on the freezer side temp adjustment. Took the panel off and the coil was caked with ice.
1 Answer Hello Paul. It sounds like there is a defrost issue in the unit. You will need to test and locate the issue with the defrost system. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Mo July 06, 2014 for Model Number LFC25760ST My refrigerator temperature keeps increasing. My freezer is fine and sometimes it beeps. Can you help, please?
1 Answer Hello Mo, This is most likely the fan motor 4681JB1029H in the back of the freezer compartment. Read More...

Richard September 01, 2013 for Model Number LRBC22522ST I have an LG fridge # LRBC22522ST The freezer is cold and the fridge is not. I check the evap fan in the freezer compartment and it does not turn on. I check the fan with an ohm meter and it has resistance. Then I checked wiring harness to the fan and its not getting any volts. I was told to change the defrost timer. Does this sound right? I was told its part# 6615jb2005c which is a sensor/fuse
1 Answer Richard, You will want to access the control board on the back of the unit and test the evaporator fan motor circuit for voltage and if there is no voltage then replace the control board. Read More...
Tammy October 03, 2012 for Model Number LBN2251557 The freezer seems to be defrosting to long. I was told this refrigerator has a defrost sensor and it needs replacing. Does it have a sensor or just a defrost thermostat? The seals are good.
John March 29, 2012 for Model Number AP4457170 For the defrost thermostat, there are 2 orange wires (which I assume is the defrost thermistor) and a red and brown wires (which is a fuse of sorts). When I connect an multi-meter to the 2 orange wires (the thermistor), I would've expected the Resistance to DECREASE as the temperature INCEASED, however, in my case the opposite it true. How is this possible?
1 Answer Hi John. The defrost thermistor (sensor)part # part # 6615JB2005C has a reading of 30 ohms resistence at O°F. At 77° it will have approx. 5.8k ohms resistence. Basically this is the way these types of thermisters are classified. They are positive temperature type. You really check the voltage output of the main contol board to see if you are getting .5-4.5 vdc output at the Point "c" pin 61 AIN1 connection. Let us know your exact model # to cross reference the parts. Thank You. Read More...
