The Tub to Pump Hose is an OEM replacement part for LG top-load washing machines. This hose safely transports water between the wash tub and drain pump. The hose measures 13 inches in length.

Causes of failure relate to constant flexing under water pressure strains that accumulate over years of usage. Excess minerals in hard water areas promote accelerated breakdown of flexible PVC material.

Symptoms of a cracked or leaking tub to pump hose include:

  • Water not draining or taking an abnormally long time
  • Water continually accumulating inside the machine cabinet
  • Error codes related to drainage issues displayed
  • Puddles forming near or under the back of the washer

This genuine LG hose is also compatible with select Sears/Kenmore units as well.

For Lg Tub To Pump Hose (Part Number: OEM13309230)

Captainkirk17 for Model Number WM4270HVA

Hi APP, Has anyone else reported that a reason for this washer leaking was the small hose at the top of the tub? I ordered the bellows tub-to-pump hose, but only got as far as removing the lid of the washer. I discovered a small rubber hose on the left rear of the tub had come loose from its nipple. I put it back on, and ran loads all weekend without a single leak. I don't want to return the hose because: a) I'm sure it will leak someday and b) I'm super grateful for the disassembly videos! Just wanted to know if anyone else had reported similar issues. It might save you from future returns or folks having this as their first encounter with APP. Thanks!

Ben, Yes, you can lay the unit on its side or you can pull the unit away from the wall and then lean it against the wall to support it while you replace the hose.

Hello Milton, You will need to order 4738ER1002A for the model provided. We apologize for the compatibility tool since it will not recognize a part number that has crossed even if the manufacturer is who crossed the number. It is still in work and should be disregarded at this time. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.
