2 Answers Larry, You will want to check the evaporator in the freezer and see what the frost pattern is like. The frost pattern should be a full even frost pattern from top to bottom front to back. 2 Answers Larry, Check and make sure the freezer drawer closes and seals especially along the bottom. Hold the freezer light door switch in and listen/feel for the freezer evaporator motor to run and move the air. Remove the drawer bins and check the back wall/evaporator cover for a build up of frost or ice on the wall, you may have a freezer defrost issue. Read More...
Larry November 27, 2018 for Model Number LFxs29626s Fridge is staying cool. Freezer though is set at 6 degrees. Barely maintaining 32 degrees. Especially upper compartment barley maintaining freeze point. Ice cream soft. I cleaned vents rear. That's where I am at.
1 Answer Larry, you have several areas you can look at, check for a frost build up on the back of the freezer panel, this would indicate a defrost issue. Kent February 25, 2018 for Model Number LMX25964ST This unit is not cooling. The compressor won't start. When you plug it in it makes a clicking noise by the ice storage bin.
