Jim February 17, 2023 for Model Number 795.73133.410 The unit stopped making ice. I checked the solenoid and found an open coil, so I replaced it. The water dispenser works fine and the water line to the icemaker is clear, but it won't fill the ice tray. If I fill the tray manually, it freezes and dumps the ice cubes but won't re-fill. The "Full Bin" sensors are clean and the temp is 40 & 0 deg. Some of these Q&A's refer to a reset button. Where is the reset or do you have other suggestions?
1 Answer Jim, Thanks for the question!!! The icemaker reset is under the front face of the icemaker. However, The reset will not help as your icemaker is dumping cubes. 1 Answer Beth, with the switch in the on position, there will be a test button on the bottom of the ice maker that can be pressed and held for 3 seconds. The ice maker should start a harvest if it is operating properly and the freezer temperature would need to be verified as being at 0°F (also the fan behind the freezer back cover on the left side would need to be inspected for operation). If the ice maker does not start to operate after holding the test button, the ice maker part number can be found on the back of the part itself or the product number and model number in a new question would be necessary to identify which part would be used with this model. Mike December 13, 2021 for Model Number LFX25974ST/01 I had to replace a door in my LG LFX25974ST refrigerator due to wires broken inside the door and upon installing the new door, my old ice maker's (EAU60783828) plug which was a 12 ice cube maker, does not fit into the female end in the new door. Does anyone know which ice maker I need to get? Now I get ER15 code after about 5hrs because there is no ice maker hooked up. Both doors are identical with the exception of the plug for the ice maker. Thank you.
