Garrytn2222 October 10, 2011 for Model Number LG LMV2053SW This microwave will not heat, beforehand there was intermediate arcing noise. I am suspecting the magnetron since the diode and the capacitor seem to have correct specs according to Multi-meter. I noticed that viewing the magnetron from the top there appears to be a crack in the magnet that is next to the interior cavity. But the crack is a straight line, and the picture of the magnetron above also appears to have this as well. Is the picture accurate, should there be a break in the magnet? Thanks, Garry
1 Answer Hello Garry. No, there should be no cracks in the magnets. If your magnetron 6324W1A001Y is cracked, it will need to be replaced. Hope this helps. Read More...
