Lorri October 30, 2017 for Model Number lfd23860st My fridge make a clicking noise. It clicks once then again a few seconds later. It still cools fine. What part do I need? 6749C-0014E? Thanks
1 Answer Lorri, You will want to check to make sure that the condenser fan motor is running and make sure that the condenser coils are clean. If the coils are dirty or the fan is not running this can cause the compressor to shut down prematurely and overheat and will cause the clicking noise. Read More...
Jeremy January 27, 2015 for Model Number haier beverage fridge no freezer Here are the facts as best I know. I am not a professional repair person so please go easy on me. Stopped cooling, inside light still turns on. Compressor says LG and gets very warm Frequent clicks from "relay I think". What should I try to replace first... relay, fridge?? The part that says klixon 4 tm was very warm and hot to touch?
1 Answer Jeremy, This issue does sound like it would be caused by a relay that has failed and you would want to replace the relay and overload at the same time on the unit. Read More...

Ron S December 08, 2012 for Model Number Haier Refrigerator Model# HRQ04WNA This is a small Haier refrigerator, with no freezer unit. The compressor assembly has LG written on it, and it is clear that that all of the major working parts are LG. The refrigerator has worked well for 8 years. Then suddenly it started to fail. The failure takes the form of clicking on, then the compressor runs for just a few seconds and turns off. What turns it off is the O.L.P., which gets very hot in that few seconds. After perhaps a minute or so, the O.L.P. cools down and clicks on again. At that point the compressor tries to start again and the cycle repeats. It does not work long enough to actually cool anything. I can order a replacement O.L.P. from AppliancePartsPros for $9.98. My question is, if I buy an O.L.P. to replace the old one, will this solve the problem? Or, is the current O.L.P. actually doing its job properly by shutting off the compressor because of an overload, so that a new one will do the same? To summarize, is the compressor or some other major part shot so that I need to buy another refrigerator? Or is the O.L.P. shot so that all I have to do is replace it? Thanks, in advance for your answer.
1 Answer Hello Ron, It would be a good idea to replace the overload but what would more than likely cause the problem is a bad relay or compressor. If you have a bad relay you would want to replace the overload as well. Read More...
