For Lg Lp Conversion Kit (Part Number: OEM21531309)

Lori B. for Model Number DLGX3701W

The owner manual for dryer DLGX3701 states the proper orifice to convert this dryer to LP is 382EEL3002D but your cross-check reference says it isn't compatible. Is this an error because I can't find any reference to this model number on your site? I see that someone else followed their owners manual and bought this part and was advised that they needed a different part. I thought if I was following the owners manual I would be safe but after reading the other customers question I thought I better ask before ordering.

Pat, the conversion valve should come with an instruction sheet for converting to LP. The gas regulator would have to be adjusted to LP, as well as installing the LP spud. The adjustment of the gas regulator can vary depending on the style. If it has a cap on the top, then the cap would need to be unscrewed and there will be a valve inside that will need to be flipped to where the top is pointing down into the regulator.

Te, This would be the correct part for your unit and the reason the compatibility may not show as being compatible is that if it is not on the original parts list it will show as not being compatible.

Laz for Model Number LG DLGX4271W

Bought the LG DLGX4271W gas dryer and will need to convert it to propane. The LG dryer manual says the conversion kit part number is 383EEL3002D. However, the little information available I was able to find on the conversion kit does not specifically list the DLGX4271 as a compatible dryer. Plus, from reading the dryer's documentation, there was nothing in it to assist with converting from natural gas to propane. Can you please: 1) verify this is the right part for the DLGX4271 dryer? 2) provide basic instructions on how to do the conversion? Thanks in advance for your help.

Laz, The conversion kit for your dryer would be part number 383EEL3002A and unfortunately we do not have conversion instructions but should just be a matter of accessing the burner and changing the orifice.

Cheryl J. for Model Number DLG3051W

We need to convert to propane and there is confusion over what the correct number is for that kit. The number ends in 3 different letters and I have been given different answers about what is correct. The number is 383EEL 3002 and then it's either A, E or D. The LG site technical specifications for that model gives the number as ending in D. However, I was given different information at Lowe's. Then the parts supplier said all the kits looked the same. I can't get good information and LG itself is of very little help. I can't afford to order the wrong part and have to have several service calls.
