The Burner Control Knob is an OEM Replacement Part that provides you with precise control over the heat level of the surface burner on your LG range. This knob features a 'D' shaped shaft insert, designed for compatibility with a D-shaped shaft. In the OFF position, the flat side of the shaft insert is aligned for easy recognition. With dimensions of 2-3/8" in diameter and 1-7/8"W, the shaft extends approximately 1/4" past the back of the knob.

Causes of a bad burner control knob can include frequent use leading to wear, accidental impact causing breakage, or exposure to high heat affecting its integrity. A compromised control knob can hinder your ability to control the burner effectively.

Symptoms of a bad burner control knob include:

  • Difficulty turning the knob
  • The knob not staying in the desired position
  • Visible cracks or damage to the knob
  • The knob becoming loose or falling off

This OEM LG part is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore models.

Connie, The plastic inside the knob cannot be purchased separately. You would need to replace the knobs on the unit.

Hello Pina, if the stem on the knob is broken, you will have to replace the whole knob. The manufacturer only provides them that way. Either the "Super Boost" knob EBZ37189609 or the other valve knob EBZ37189611. If you see the part you need in the knob picture, you need to order the whole knob. Hope this helps!

Dan, from our picture the burner knob EBZ37189609 seems to be a stainless knob however, we do not have the specs available on this item to guarantee the material. Sorry about that!

Patricia, it could possibly be a bad design of the knobs or it could also be from not pushing in on the knobs to turn them. LG is a higher brand making their parts a little more expensive than others. Thanks.
