The Burner Control Knob is an OEM Replacement Part that provides you with precise control over the heat level of the surface burner on your LG range. This knob features a 'D' shaped shaft insert, designed for compatibility with a D-shaped shaft. In the OFF position, the flat side of the shaft insert is aligned for easy recognition. With dimensions of 2-3/8" in diameter and 1-7/8"W, the shaft extends approximately 1/4" past the back of the knob.

Causes of a bad burner control knob can include frequent use leading to wear, accidental impact causing breakage, or exposure to high heat affecting its integrity. A compromised control knob can hinder your ability to control the burner effectively.

Symptoms of a bad burner control knob include:

  • Difficulty turning the knob
  • The knob not staying in the desired position
  • Visible cracks or damage to the knob
  • The knob becoming loose or falling off

This OEM LG part is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore models.

Why the cost is so high?? Obviously it had something to do with the quality of the product all my appliances are LG and when I said all of the I'm talking about from TV, dish washer, refrigerator, oven extractor, coffee maker etc....but on every piece that it has chrome over plastic bubble up and if you trying to get new ones, price is sky high. I don't see any other brands having this kind of problem!!....but I like LG... My question is, my stove has 5 knobs; Do I need to spend the listed price to replace this defective knobs or is there an alternative???

Hello Iris! Unfortunately, we only have the originals listed as compatible with an appliance and the manufacturer does not offer any alternatives to the given knob. Sorry about that.
