Gmorris, based on the information provided, the main control has failed and is continuously sending voltage to the auger motor. The main control used would be dependent on the REV number of your appliance. If it is 00, the control would be DA41-00684A. If the REV is 01 or higher, the control DA92-00233D would be used.

Hello Jim. You will need to remove the assembly. To remove the dispenser cover you will need to remove the screw under the display cover. Then remove the display cover by pushing it to the right side and pulling it up. Disengage the housing connect of the display cover. Once removed, the levers unsnap from the assembly.

Joeamaco, First thing to do is make sure that there is not a screw in the bottom of the part. If there is a screw then remove it and grab the cover assembly in the opening where the ice come out and give a good jerk. This should allow the cover to be released.
