Josh January 11, 2020 for Model Number WF42H5200AP/A2 I need a door gasket for my samsung model # WF42H5200AP/A2. I searched the website and found MFG Number DC97-18094B @ https://www.appliancepartspros.com/samsung-assy-diaphragm-h500-dc97-18094b-ap5917067.html. Seems straightforward, however, when I double check the queried part above with the compatibility tool, it says this will not fit my model. Please advise.
1 Answer Josh, the door gasket DC97-18094B will work for your model. As the model provided did not contain the REV number, the compatibility tool does not recognize the model. However, this gasket is for both revisions of the model provided. Read More...
Davi December 09, 2019 for Model Number wf42h5400af/a2 From my research on other websites, I believe the part number I need is DC97-18094C. However, the DC97-18094B is much cheaper (and appears to be for the 5200AF model rather than the 5400AF that I own); can you first tell me the difference between the two? In addition, will the video you posted for part DC97-18094B be sufficient to fix our washer if we need to get the DC97-18094C?? Are there any differences in installation?
1 Answer Davi, Unfortunately, we do not have information on the difference between these 2 parts but you will want to use the one the manufacturer's parts list calls for. Also, the video for changing the parts you can use the video that is listed for this. Read More...
Randy August 18, 2019 for Model Number wf42h5000aw/w2 I have water coming from the right front bottom of washer
1 Answer Randy, as there are many sources that can cause this occurrence, the top and front panels would need to be removed to locate the exact source for this water. The common places to start would be the cold water valve DC62-30312J, hot water valve DC62-30314K, inlet hoses, and the door boot DC97-18094B. Following that would be the tub to pump hose DC67-00312A and the drain hose DC97-12534K. Read More...
Anthony December 13, 2017 for Model Number wf42h5000aw/a2 The outer door boot clamp came out of the Assy Diaphragm and that has come out of the groove and is inside the machine. How do I put the Assy Diaphragm back in the groove and put back the clamp. Where is the answer to this posted?
1 Answer Anthony, The diaphragm is just hooked onto the front of the front panel. You will then wrap the clamp around and hook it on. It is not a easy task to do but can use a pair of needle nose pliers to get ahold of it and get it in place. Read More...
