Kent H. March 13, 2016 for Model Number wa422prhdwra-aa All the electronics and the door latch seems to work but it will not spin or anything else. No codes at all. Is the main control board also the motor control board?
1 Answer Hello Kent, You should go into the diagnostics to ensure no codes are present. If none, the control has an issue since it will always give a code if the unit will not cycle through on its' own. There is only one control board on this design that controls the machine and the motor. The diagnostics are accessed by the following procedure: - Plug in the unit. - Press spin key, soil level key and Power Key at the same Time. 1. All LED’s light up and it sends out Beep Sound when it enters into the Quick Test Mode. (Including 7-Segment) 2. Displays software version for a second and Clear EEPROM. 3. When the version is displayed, turn the Jog-Dial so that the version disappears. Press the following keys to test the various components: - Temp. Key : Water Valve Test - Soil Level Key : Door Lock/Unlock Test - Spin : Drain Motor Test Service Test Mode: 1. The washer must be on to go into the Service Mode. 2. The motor speed will be displayed when started (It displays 0 when the motor does not spin). 3. The present state of the machine will not be changed. (i.e., the current cycle in progress will not be interrupted and only the display will change) 4. To exit Service Mode, press Delay Start and AquaJetTM(WA456*), Extra Rinse(WA422*) Keys for 3 second again, or Power Key. If no key is operated during Service Mode for 5 minutes, the machine will return to normal user mode. Read More...
Sue December 02, 2015 for Model Number WA400PJHDWR/AA 1st of all - 0001 comes up as part of the model # but my washer just has AA. I don't see any #'s. Would this part work? Also, I had a repair man out and he changed the lock switch which has not corrected the problem. The washer lid does not lock when I start the machine even though he put a new one in. Does it sound like the control panel if the washer shows the same time of 35 min on the panel no matter what cycle I change it to and still won't lock or start when I push the start button. Thank you
1 Answer Sue, Yes, this control DC92-01021B is the correct control board for your unit. This will be the most likely cause for the door not locking and the unit staying at 35 min regardless of the cycle selected. Read More...
Kelly November 23, 2015 for Model Number Samsung WA4000PJHDWR My washer powers up, but won't start the cycle. The lid does not lock. It was a intermittent problem, but now happens all the time. I'm thinking it's the lid switch. Is it going to correct the problem? I should have asked first!
1 Answer Hello Kelly, The part you ordered may correct the issue. There is the possibility of a problem with the control, but in comparison, the part you ordered corrects the issue 80% of time. Read More...
