Rich July 23, 2016 for Model Number RF266AEPN/XAA Ball bearings came out of the right slide rail. I needed to gently "free up" the left slide rail to allow the drawer to open fully (a problem we have had for a long time but did not realize it). I think I need to replace both of the freezer slide rails but I do not know the part numbers that I need to order. Can you help?
Matt February 25, 2016 for Model Number RF263AEBP/XAA Our slide rail assembly for the freezer drawer broke and the bearings came apart. We need a new assembly. If you are looking at the fridge from the front the left assembly is the one that broke. I found an assembly on your website. However, I did not see anything that states what side. Do you carry an assembly for the left side?
Richard October 25, 2015 for Model Number RF263AEBP/XAA Freezer side rail lost it's ball bearings. we have all pieces to put it back together but we can not figure out how to get the pieces back together. Any suggestions other than replacing the full assembly which is pretty expensive. A picture sure would help or instructions. Or is there some way we can send in the parts and have it put back together for a lets expensive cost? Thank you.
1 Answer Richard, If the rail and bearings came apart you will not want to try to repair it, this is an issue where the part would need to be replaced. Read More...
Peter August 09, 2015 I opened the bottom freezer door of my Samsung fridge and heard something fall. I removed the upper shelf and found a square metal rod at the bottom along with some ball bearings. What is this and how can I put it back? Thanks
1 Answer It sounds like the rack rail came out. Use this diagram link to locate the correct side and you will need to replace the rack rail on the unit. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/parts-for-samsung-rfg297hdbp-xaa.html Read More...
Steve June 18, 2013 for Model Number rf263aepn The ball bearings have fallen out of my rail assembly for the bottom freezer, but I can't figure how the heck it is removed! There appear to be no screws, clips, levers! Thanks!
1 Answer Hello Steve, With the tracks pulled all the way out, near the back in the4 center of the rail, you will see a square hole in the metal and a white plastic piece in this hole. If you depress this plastic with a small screwdriver while sliding the track out to the end, it will slowly cause the track to slide out. I use the track like a slide hammer and it makes the track come out much easier. If the bearings have come out you will most likely have to replace the tracks. I seriously do not recommend replacing one track. If both are not replaced, you will have trouble with the freezer door closing properly. Read More...
