Questions & Answers

For Samsung Refrigerator Condenser Fan Motor Assembly (Part Number: OEM18003054)

Peter Mayhew for Model Number RF28HMEDBSR/AA-0002

Refrigerator is 4 years old Refrigerator won’t hold temp and goes from 34 to 50 degrees so has temp swings often. I’ve replaced the sensor and control board and still has problem. I do get a loud vibrating noise so I pulled the twin cool cover to see if it’s the fan hitting ice but it’s not frozen. If I set to rapid cool, it will go down to 25 degrees. When I check for service code, the screen flashes for a second 8888 along with the rest of the screen lighting up. Could I have a bad fan.

1 Answer

Peter, Based on the information it sounds like this would be a fan that is faulty and would need to be replaced.
