Questions & Answers

For Samsung Refrigerator Water Inlet Valve Assembly (Part Number: OEM13331268)

1 Answer

Hello Joel, This can be a defective water filter, a bad water inlet valve, or a frozen water tank. I would first remove the water line at the door hinge to see if water is being passed there. If not, pull the water valve and remove the water line from the bottom of it and dispense water to see if water is being passed there. If not, the water valve has failed. If so, either the replacement water filter is restricted or the water tank is frozen. You can pull the drawers and use a hair dryer on the water tank for about 15 minutes to thaw it out. If this produces no results, the issue will be narrowed down to the water filter. You can eliminate the water filter if you have the water filter bypass plug.
