Kurt August 23, 2020 for Model Number RFG298HDRS/XAA-0000 Hello--had the bottom ice maker replaced two months ago and the guy said if this doesn't fix the issue..need to replace the inlet since it may be getting too much water. Well, the bottom works just fine..single cubes. The top..dams up with the 2-3 cubes joined together. Need to remove tray and dump the ice out twice a day. Replaced the top ice maker--easy. Still didn't fix. Thinking I need to replace the valve..thoughts? Thanks!

1 Answer Mr Bill, Unfortunately there is not a video showing how to replace the water valve on the unit. To do this you would just pull the unit out from the wall and shut off the water supply. You will then take the screw out that holds the valve in place and then disconnect the tubing by removing the spacer between the valve body and ring around the tube.
