On the back of the part it says ARES2120RA. Is part number AP5964478 compatible for my model? What else is compatible for my model? Thank you in advance.

Goose May 14, 2020 for Model Number RF28M9580SR/AA-00 Refrigerator cools fine 37 degrees but the freezer won't stay frozen any ideas
1 Answer Hello Goose, then the freezer section is above 32 deg. In cooling mode the compressor and condenser fan should be running, the ref cools the fresh food section first then switches to the freezer. You should hear/feel the evap fan motor running in the section being cooled. If no fan running in the freezer there will be some cooling but only at the bottom of the freezer. If the fan is running there may be a sealed system problem. You can have the control board do a self-test for the problem, Press the freezer and ref keypads together for about 8 sec, the display blinks, and then release the pads, record any fault codes. Press the same pads to exit test mode. Read More...
Brad Berry December 11, 2018 for Model Number RF23J9011SG/AA Looking for a part number for the compressor for my freezer it does not cool at all.
Merle November 22, 2018 for Model Number RH25H5611SR/AA 0002 With the fridge door closed in sound like a blower motor bearing going out. when you open the door the noise stop but restarts after the door is closed. Also at times the noise goes away but then the temp in the fridge goes up. Would this be Samsung part number AP5948644?
1 Answer Merle, Based on the information/description you supplied, the refrigerator fan motor DA31-00334C / DA31-00287B Motor Bldc-FAN; ARES2120R is the most likely issue. You can isolate the noise and operation, better if you open the door and hold the refrigerator door light switch down, The motor should run and make the noise. The part is in stock and available at this time. Thanks, Read More...
Michael July 27, 2017 for Model Number RH25H5611BC/AA Freezer works great but fridge will not stay at 34 degrees. It keeps going up to 60. If I put ice in the fridge to lower the temperature, it will stay cold for a couple of day but then move up to 60 degrees. The fridge was bought new 2 years ago. I don't think it's the sensor because the reading on the fridge is actuate to the temperature inside. I called a local appliance store and he said it sounded like the compressor or the fan. How would I know which one it is?
1 Answer Michael, It shouldn't be the compressor or inverter board( or the freezer wouldn't cool, either), That would indicate an issue with the refrigerator evaporator fan or a defrost problem on the refrigerator evaporator. Your refrigerator has a magnetic "reed" switch for a door light switch. If you have a small magnet, open the refrigerator door, place the magnet over the area of the switch near the hinge and the evaporator fan should run. If not you can remove the back wall/evaporator cover and check the fan motor and the defrost heater and thermostat all at the same time. Read More...
