Gary August 14, 2019 for Model Number RB2055SL Compresser fan was not working. Refrigerator was hot on the sides, etc. I replaced the fan. It still won't turn. There is power at the female plug. Otherwise the refrigerator seems to work fine. I took the cover off the back, and am using a small fan placed in front of the compresser/coils to cool the compresser and coils. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
1 Answer Hello Gary, the condenser fan motor is rated for 120v, if it has been replaced then check for the 120v with a multimeter on the wires to the condenser fan ,if the compressor has been running at least 10 min and still no voltage then trace the wires back to check for any breaks, if all check ok then the main control board DA41-00128D has a faulty fan motor circuit. Mike November 18, 2013 I'm looking for a starter relay for a 1/4HP refrig compressor. Or a cross-reference to a muRata p/n: 4R7MD (2313405) The compressor is a Embraca EG-Y80HLP. The muRata relay (we are using) came within a Whirlpool kit No 8201799. We just want to be able to buy the muRata relay (or equivalent) Cheers

Tony S April 11, 2013 for Model Number samsung refrigerator model rs2530bwp Any time my refrigerator want to start, it make an annoying noise. the noise is more like the noise coming from a bad relay. this started after we had a power outage and the power went back On and OFF many times. I just ordered the bid capacitor and the start relay connected to the compressor since I thought it should be one or both of them. I know there are other relays on the main electronic boards but I don't think the noise come from them since they look to small to make such a noise but I am not sure. Previously showed 03. Contemplating purchase of this and control board for replacement on frig. Any historical problems with this frig that may assist me in which parts to replace? I hear clicking on rear of frig, I assume is compressor attempting to engage.
