Clark July 04, 2011 for Model Number SGM466 My Dacor cooktop continues to ignite (continuous clicking sound) after one or several burners are lit. Repair man came out and changed the Spark Module, but it still has the same problem, only worse. The repair man never came back to fix it. How would you suggest I proceed?
1 Answer Clark, You have a "re ignition" module DE81-03927A. There are several possibilities, check and make sure the power cord is attached to a properly polarized, grounded, 120 VAC outlet. The burner bases, caps and igniters have to be cleaned, no rust or debris, The spark module is burner specific, and has got to be wired correctly,from the igniter switches, to the module, from the module to the burner igniter.
