Steve H June 11, 2015 for Model Number Sgm364 gas cooktop Can light burners w match. Not igniters going off at all. Gas is flowing. Power to unit is on. Is this a module problem or a switch problem? Can i remove the under housing without removing the cooktop from above to access the part? Thanks
1 Answer Steve, If the unit top burners are not sparking at all then the spark module would be the most likely cause or the issue. As for accessing you cannot just remove the under housing without removing the cooktop. The cooktop would need to be removed. Read More...
Sheri March 06, 2014 for Model Number Dacor PGM365-1 cooktop Hi Dave. My 18,000 BTU burner keeps continuously igniting even after the burner is on. Do I need to change out the igniter module? If so, can you give me a step by step on how to do that? Thx.
1 Answer Sheri, Most likely the cause for the igniter to continue to click when the unit is on would be a faulty spark module DE81-03927A. Read More...

James December 04, 2013 for Model Number SGM304S My Dacor SGM304S cooktop keeps sparking after the flame comes on. All 4 burners keep sparking and it doesn't matter which one I turn on. I have cleaned the igniters thoroughly but this has not fixed the problem. Do I need this spark module?
1 Answer Hello James, This is most likely a failed spark module DE81-03926A. It should stop sparking after sensing the resistance of the flame back through the ignitor. Read More...
Moira September 06, 2013 for Model Number PGM365 Oh help. Think the remodeler (more like helpless DIYers) have caused so much damage in my house. Now the left to burner on my cook top keep clicking even when ignited. I cleaned the base, etc., when they reinstalled it (moved a sink from corner to outer wall which meant I needed a new counter top. Is this model a re-ignitor? I need info to send the owner of this company. I told him not to come back, to give me my money back - minus new sink, window. He wanted to know if he send his best men, if I would reconsider. They had the same man who moved cabinets, reinstall this plus install the dishwasher. Well, Wednes. am my kitchen floor was flooded, floor ruined, cabinet base warped...... Seems they didn't know the drain hose has to be routed up to the bottom of the counter before being hooked up to the house drain. Their plumber came; said it was not the plumbing. Had service today and found it was. a very upset 80 year old.
1 Answer Moira, This unit is a re-igniter model range and with the burner continuously clicking even when lit then the issue would be either a lost ground wire, a bad igniter 66958 or a bad re-igniter switch DE81-07650A. Read More...
Brian T. February 26, 2013 for Model Number DACOR SGM365 5-burner cooktop Yesterday the circuit breaker tripped when I turned on a burner. I reset the breaker and everything worked for a day. Today I heard a "pop" when turning on a burner, and now I have no spark at any of the burners. I have power at the receptacle where the cook top is plugged in - the blue indicator light goes on when I turn any knob. I'm thinking Spark Module #86527. What do you say? Thanks for your help, Brian
1 Answer Hello Brian. If there is power to the spark module, and no spark from the unit, you will need to order and replace the model. If there is no power to the module, the the spark switch may be bad and need to be replaced in the unit. Read More...
Herb June 13, 2012 for Model Number Decor RSD30R Hi, my Decor oven has decided not to "start" when I put it on bake and set the temp. It clicks back to off. If I attempt to start the oven again, after 3 or 4 tries, it will begin to work. I want the oven to bake, each time I want to use it, not a hit or miss. Can you advise? Thanks Herb
1 Answer Hello Herb. Check and make sure there are no loose connections on the unit. If not, based on the information you provided, it sounds like the relay board DE81-09179A is bad and will need to be replaced. Read More...
Herb May 29, 2012 for Model Number Decor RSD30R Hello. When I light the two right side burners, everything is fine. When I light either of the two left hand burners, all 4 burners continue to click.... as if to reignite. Now the funny thing is if I light Both left hand burners, the clicking stops. What can be going on? Can it be I need to clean each ignitor with a brass wire brush I hear about? If that doesn't work, what is my fix? It is quite annoying. Thanks Herb
1 Answer Hello Herb. Yes, you will need to clean each burner and if the issue continues, replace the spark module DE81-03927A on the unit. Read More...
Gary January 31, 2012 for Model Number ERD30 I have a four burner Dacor ERD30. 3 burners light properly. The right front burner doesn't light or even make the clicking noise. I'm wondering if I need the ignitor, the spark module or both? Thanks!
1 Answer Hello Gary. Check and see if there is a crack in the igniter. Also, make sure the igniter and the burner are clean and dry on the unit. If the igniter is good, replace the spark module DE81-03927A. Hope this helps. Read More...
Mike S. January 02, 2012 for Model Number Dacor 5 burner glass top gas stove 5 burner gas Dacor stove top. 3 of the burners light correctly. Two of the burners do not, they continue to attempt to lite but no spark at the burner. If I lite the burner with a match, they lite but continue to spark. This sounds like the spark module - correct? If so do I need the model number to order the correct piece or are they interchangable? Thanks - Mike 775 230-3303 mikestahoe@yahoo.com
1 Answer Hi Mike. Your problem sounds like you need the top burner ignitors part # DE81-02696A. They are aged and prone to cracking the ceramic and then shorting to ground. The burner caps also need to be "cleaned" regurallry with a small brass brush to insure the ground path is correct. Make sure that the burner caps are set back on correctly also. Thank you.
