Don January 27, 2017 for Model Number RF263AEWP/XAA Does anyone have any instructions on changing the ice tray in this model? I've seen a number of others, but not this one. I'm hoping this is what is needed to get whole ice cubes, again, instead of a mix of cubes and broken ice.

Stan Pawlowski November 06, 2016 for Model Number RF266ABRS On my third ice cube tray replacement!!! First lasted 2-3 years. Last only a couple of months. I think I let the ice cubes build up too much and then pulling out the drawer breaks off the circular nub that is on the back side of the tray. Getting the tray put in has been very difficult. I've had to flex the tray almost to the point of breaking to get it to pop in place, circle nub in the back /rectangle slots in the front. Is there any easier way to do this???

1 Answer Hello Jen, This ice tray will come out by flexing the plastic brackets that hold it. The critical part of this is the placement of the sensor on the bottom of the tray. If the sensor is not placed exactly as it is on the existing tray, the icemaker will not cycle properly. Read More...
