Linda June 04, 2017 for Model Number RF376LXGN2 Hi, I ordered a new handle and screws, which worked fine attaching the handle to the top trim. However, I cannot get the screws (#2 on the chart) to go into the handle through the front door. Are they supposed to fit? The old one were shorter and black, but they don't fit either. I am an older woman and just may not be strong enough to get them in. Any suggestions before I call a repair man? Thanks.
1 Answer Linda, The handle of the door will only attach to the top trim of the door. Then the top trim will attach to the inner door using screw part number W11244557. Read More...
Rick June 24, 2016 for Model Number RF198LXMP0 Purchased these as a replacement for broken screws. Checked that the manufacturer number is indeed correct. The screws are too wide to fit in to the socket of the door handle. There is no damage to the thread of the socket on the door handle, which is original to this model of appliance Any suggestions? Many thanks
1 Answer Rick, This screw is a self tapping screw and will cut into the door handle when installing it. Read More...
Irene July 11, 2013 I have a Roper electric stove about 4 years old. Handle fell off (tenants) and I have the two screws that hold the handle onto the door. What I don't have are any nuts or washers to secure the screws. Local hardware store can't help. Can you?
1 Answer Irene, There would not be a nut holding the screws for the door handle. The screws would actually screw into the door handle. Read More...
