Murray for Model Number rf263afbp

customers Samsung bottom mount fridge , French doors, twin cool, freezer works fine , fridge evaporator around fan frozen with ice, installed new evaporator with fan cover assembly , cleared drain trough, installed new defrost terminator, and temperature sensor, installed new control board , temperature stays too warm in fridge , came back and removed evaporator cover ,everything looks clean , good frost pattern on evaporator coil, but fan does not come on, all the connection plugs for fan and thermosat and sensor are firm, does the sensor have to be relocated? thanks

1 Answer

Murray, The sensor would not need to be relocated and needs to be where the manufacturer had it installed. You will want to see if the unit is getting power from the control board to the fan. Should be 12vdc to the fan motor.
