This OEM Replacement Part is an Adhesive designed for use in high-temperature areas of your Whirlpool appliances. Approximately 7.5 inches long, this white adhesive is suitable for securing parts such as grate feet, gaskets, and felt seals. It is especially useful, particularly in hot zones like a cooktop. The heat-resistant properties of this adhesive ensure that the bond integrity remains uncompromised even under high-temperature conditions.

Contained in a 3oz bottle, this adhesive forms a resilient bond between various components. It is commonly used in conjunction with gaskets, felt seals, and rubber feet. The RTV high temp silicone adhesive/sealant guarantees the safety and longevity of your appliance by ensuring a secure fit of parts exposed to high heat.

Robert, Yes the W10841140 silicone based adhesive will work to secure the drum seal on your dryer, But a better choice would be WPY055980, this hi temp adhesive can be used on all rubber and felt seal installations, and was specifically for dryer felt seals .

Richard, You would not want to use a sealant between the cooktop and the countertop. This would make the unit difficult if the unit had to be removed to service the product.

Can I use your silicone adhesive part # AP3777522 to glue a shelf to the INSIDE door of a refrigerator? And if this wouldn't work, is there something else you can recommend? I bought a older model refrigerator (LG) that has a shelf bracket available for the door of the newer same models, but even though it fits the door on the older models, there are no "stubs" in the door to hold it in place. I have to find a way to secure it to the door and I thought glue would be the best option. Any suggestions at this point would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello Bob. No, the only thing we can recommend is replacing a broken shelf. Thank you.

Hello Tonya, The silicone will not endure the high temperatures produced in the oven. If the door gasket WB04T10086 needs to be retained, the door gasket will have to be replaced since the retainers are made on the door gasket.

Michael, Unfortunately there is no type of adhesive that you could put on the glass to hold it back to the metal bracket. This would require a new touchpad.

Hello Javier, We would not have anything to repair a glass window. You would need to replace the glass.

Tom, There are a couple of things to try, Remove the pulley assembly and seal, ( of course you'll need another seal first) Use a cotton swab(Q-tip) with rubbing alcohol, ans clean the surface inside the area between the shaft and the casing as far up as the seal depth. when you're ready to install the seal, rough up the side of the seal with a fine grit sand paper. put a thin coat of "perma tex" gasket sealer on the seal wall, and slowly/carefully "walk" the seal up the shaft and partially insert the seal in the casing, you need to be careful, so you don't "nick" the inner seal (top) lip, then complete the installation per the instructions.Allow the washer to set for 12 to 24 hours before using again. If the oil leak persists, you'll need to replace the transmission assembly and associated parts.
