Molly, We do not have any information on a black tanear to be able to put on a stainless panel. The best option would be to take it to a paint shop to have something like this done.

Judy, A 16 oz. can of spray paint usually covers 18 to 20 square feet. As long as the color is the same or relatively close, and the preparation is proper we would expect you to need 3 cans of spray paint to properly refinish the exterior of both the washer and dryer " to thoroughly cover both machines", and you may have a little left over,if at all, Thanks,

Joseph, The 285006 Appliance Spray Paint(black) will work for the drawer front and frame and side panels. But, due to heat, spillage, and safety concerns you would want to replace the cooktop with part number 8195534 / 8195534 Cooktop (black). Paint will not adhere to a porcelain or powder coated cooktop. Thanks

I have a Whirlpool built in oven/micro wave in stainless steel. There is very little area of the stainless steel, most of the area is the oven & micro windows. I would like to upgrade other appliances in the kitchen to the black stainless, but can not replace this appliance at this time. Can I prep the stainless steel and paint/spray with an appliance paint? Is there such a thing? I would like to change the color to black or something close to the new black stainless color?

1 Answer

Janet, Unfortunately there would be no appiance spray paint that will work for this as the high temp would not allow this.

Shawna, The only way to paint stainless would be to prime it and then paint it white. Your best option would be to purchase the white door panel which is part number W10838367.
