Hello Fred, I'm sorry but we will need to ask you to post a new question including the model number from your units' I.D. tag so we can recommend parts that can be guaranteed to work properly on your unit. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.

Lacy, You will want to pull the door off the unit by opening the door all the way and there should be a swivel on the door hinge you rotate to lock in place. Once locked in place you close the door and it will pop the hinges out of the receiver and you remove the door. Lay the door on a flat surface and there should be screws holding the panel in place.

Soo for Model Number GW395LEPS05

I broke the outer glass on my oven door & have 2 questions. 1) the videos show replacement of the glass using a thinker white double sided tape (used for mounting?), but the glass on my oven door looks to have used a thin double sided tape (like the scotch tape used for wrapping presents). Which should I use? 2) I can't tell if there were 1 or 2 pieces of glass in the center. It looks like there are 2 pieces in the diagram you have. If there are 2 pieces, is there a video replacing them on that specific model? Thanks for your help!

1 Answer

Soo, There are 2 pieces of inner glass on the unit and there is a video under the part number which is WP9759225. As for the double sided tape you would use the thicker one that it shows in the video.
