Fred January 02, 2017 The glass oven panel has popped off at the bottom only. Looking at it is was just held on the bottom with a double sided tape of some kind. What kind of tape would be used to reattach it to the door? It seems to be just 3 little pieces and they are no longer sticky enough to hold the glass plate to the actual oven door.

1 Answer Lacy, You will want to pull the door off the unit by opening the door all the way and there should be a swivel on the door hinge you rotate to lock in place. Soo November 05, 2016 for Model Number GW395LEPS05 I broke the outer glass on my oven door & have 2 questions. 1) the videos show replacement of the glass using a thinker white double sided tape (used for mounting?), but the glass on my oven door looks to have used a thin double sided tape (like the scotch tape used for wrapping presents). Which should I use? 2) I can't tell if there were 1 or 2 pieces of glass in the center. It looks like there are 2 pieces in the diagram you have. If there are 2 pieces, is there a video replacing them on that specific model? Thanks for your help!

Patricia S July 02, 2016 I just replaced the outer glass door on my Whirlpool oven. I use the double-sided tape and everything seemed to go well. The bottom corners are the only areas that don't look completely tight. Just a slight little opening. Will this affect the performance of the oven.
