This drive belt transfers the motor's rotation to the appliance's drive system, allowing the mechanism to move as designed. A stretched, glazed, or broken belt can stop movement or cause slipping and noise.

  • Transfers motor power to the drive system for proper operation
  • May cause no movement even though the motor runs or hums
  • May produce squealing/chirping or a burning rubber smell
  • Visible belt wear can include cracks, fraying, or glazing
  • Intermittent slipping or reduced performance under load
What's included: 1 drive belt Install notes:
  • Disconnect power before servicing; shut off gas supply.
  • Access the belt through the designated service panel; note the belt routing before removal.
  • Inspect pulleys and the idler/tensioner for wear; replace worn components.
  • Align and tension the new belt, then hand-rotate to verify tracking before testing.

Jim, You will need to check and make sure you have the belt installed properly on the idler pulley, and make sure the belt has not "slipped" into the support channel of the tumbler. You will also need to check the wires and the belt switch 35001082 for damage and make sure the switch lever is being activated by the idler arm bracket. Thanks and Good Luck
