Thomas F February 28, 2015 for Model Number Jgs9900bda What do the 4 screw holding down the burner assembly go into?My screws are completely rusted in place and I may not be able to extract them (might need to cut off heads). Is there another replacement part I would need as well?
1 Answer Thomas, The screws for the burner head would go down into the orifice holders. If you are able to get them out without having to drill them out of the orifice holder then you would just have to replace the screws and not the holders themselves. Read More...

Anthony October 06, 2014 for Model Number JGS9900BDS Dual burner clicks but doesn't ignite. Will work fine if use lighter to ignite. Can get it to ignite on its own if i play with the knob but very rare. Replaced igniter no difference. Other 3 burners work fine. Thanks for your help.
1 Answer Hello Anthony, Strip the plastic or paper covering from a bread tie and use it to run into the orifice opening. This should clear whatever is preventing the gas flow from flowing properly. Read More...
Carlk November 13, 2013 for Model Number JGS9900BDS Does dual burner come with new jets? My range uses propane. The flame pattern for the large burner is very uneven and the outer large cap has slight rock. It could be that the outer ring is warped but I feel it is best to replace, both the burner and the outer capt.
1 Answer Carl, the burner does not come with jets, it is the part that makes contact with the main top but does not have orifices with it. For the uneven flame. If the burner cap is rocking then the burner and cap should resolve the issue. The orifices (jets) are inside the orifice holder under the cooktop. You should not need to remove or replace the orifices if you are replacing the burner base and cap. Read More...
