The Sealed Gas Burner Head is an OEM part for Whirlpool gas ranges. It directs the gas flow to the burner, ensuring an even flame for cooking. This component is crucial for efficient heat distribution and precise cooking control.

Causes of a bad sealed gas burner head can include clogging from food debris or grease, corrosion due to exposure to moisture, or physical damage from impact or excessive heat. Over time, these factors can affect the burner's performance, leading to uneven cooking or failure to ignite.

Symptoms of a bad sealed gas burner head include:

  • Uneven flame or no flame at all
  • Difficulty in igniting the burner
  • Yellow or irregularly shaped flames
  • Burner not heating evenly or adequately

This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

For Whirlpool Sealed Gas Burner Head (Part Number: OEM18025785)

Hello Walter, This is a pressure issue. This can occur if the unit is set up for natural gas but hooked up to LP. If this is not the case, the issue will be the regulator WP7510P083-60.

Masood, The model number listed is not coming up as being valid. We would need to have this to verify the correct burners received. As for the burner locking in place, you would just need to turn the burner just enough so that when you pull on the burner head it will not come off.

Hello RT! The manufacturer only provides one burner assembly for your model, part number WP3412D024-09. This is used as all four burner assemblies on model CGR3742ADC. Disconnect power going to the range. The burner heads will twist off. Remove the wiring and attach to the new burner and twist the new burner back on. Hope this helps. Thanks.

Hello Shirley, what you're describing is a little odd. Considering the new burner comes with a new ignitor we can rule out the ignitor as being the issue. It almost sounds as though the burner doesn't have a good ground to the chassis of the range. That's what the wire from the burner itself is doing, not the one that is going to the ignitor. Is the surface good and clean where the ground wire is attaching? On your model whenever you turn on any one of the burner valves every ignitor should spark, but only the one you turn on will light because that is the only one that has gas coming out of it. If it's not a ground issue than we're down to either a problem with the ignitor switch being the issue WP7403P367-60 or the spark module, which unfortunately is showing as being discontinued by the manufacturer. It doesn't really sound like a module problem though. Hope this is some help.

Mishael, If the unit has solid burner elements in it then the elements have been discontinued by the manufacturer with no suitable replacement available.
