George H July 03, 2012 for Model Number DU810SWKU0 I just received this part, and it's completely different from the original. Please advise of how to install the part since there's a spring inside of the well from the original part.
1 Answer George, the only noted change in the part, was the "O" ring seal was eliminated from the end of the cap. If there is a spring in the opening, we'd suspect a probable failure in the rinse agent dispenser interior sub assemblies WP8052027, or someone or something got dropped and just happenned to fall into the opening. Kim February 22, 2011 Is this the cover for the rinse agent? We have the Whirlpool Gold Quiet Wash Plus #GU940SCGQ2 here at work. It is a 1 - 2 inch small round well that we need the cover for. I never worked here to see what the original looked like, do you think this is the correct part?
