Michael October 15, 2020 for Model Number MFI2067AES Hello! The two LEDs on the dispenser chute are very dim. If I turn them on using the panel switch they are slightly visible then get very very dim. I don't think I need a new dispenser chute (WPW10131128) as the small circuit board only has two LEDs and a few resistors. I think I need the rectangular circuit board (67006294) behind the panel switches. Do you agree? Thank you...
1 Answer Michael, the LED's can be tested for voltage from the dispenser control 67006294 (has been discontinued by the manufacturer) at the connection J4. With the black meter probe at pin 2 and the red meter probe at pin 1, there should be a reading of 12VDC when the lights are activated. If there is 12VDC, the chute assembly WPW10131128 would need to be replaced. If there is not 12VDC, the dispenser control has failed. Read More...
Randy August 10, 2020 If I need to replace the LED lights do I have to buy the Chute Extension Module? Or are they not replaceable?

Mike February 03, 2020 for Model Number MFI2067AER My Icemaker door starts flapping intermittently-no ice is dispensed during the event and the temperature control display LEDs are flashing at the same time. I disconnect all of the wires going to my control board from the main fridge and it will stop. I reconnect wires to the control board and it settles down for a day or so. Do you think I need a new control board or display membrane? Or both?
1 Answer Hello Mike, this symptom occurs when the rear main (high voltage ) control board is starting to fail. To be sure you get the correct version of that board you will need to also use the serial number to locate it. The first two numbers of the serial number are the ref model number series number. Sd June 25, 2014 for Model Number MFI2568AES Hello, We have a Maytag freezer on the bottom refridgerator. All the lights on the door panel are working. Recently we noticed it would automatically switch the lock position. When we held it down for the 3 sec the light comes on for either water or ice when pushed, but nothing dispenses. We thought it was the microswitch, we ordered a new one and it still isn't dispensing water or ice. What could if be? Thanks
1 Answer SD, Based on what has already been replaced the issue with your unit sounds like it could be caused by a faulty control board 67006294. Read More...
Mort A. October 05, 2012 for Model Number MFI2568AES Yesterday the ice dispenser on the left door was working great and after I used it one time around lunch time. I started hearing noice like clicking. I checked the refrigerator and I saw that all light on the left side door were blinking none stop and none of the bottom would work. I could not use the the dispenser for water, ice or anything else and it clicking loud noise as if you were dispensing ice. What I noticed was that the flap or piece that move up and down to stop or allow ice to dispense was moving back and and forth none stop and that what was causing the noise. I disconnected the wires to stop it from working and reinstalled at least twice but it didn't solve the problem. Could it be that one of the buttons are stuck? Please advise on what is the problem and what I need to to get it fixed. Thank you
1 Answer Hello Mort, This is a power supply issue. The control board W10890094 on the back of the unit will have to be replaced to correct the issue. Read More...
John March 09, 2012 for Model Number MFI2067AES The lights in the ice/water despenser are out everything else works. Can I buy the light for that area?

Jdan February 21, 2012 This is a follow up to my previous question. If you look at image two for the chute, it is the view as if you were holding the part and looking at the bottom. I does not contain the part number you gave for the answer to my original question. What it does contain is a very small separate board that only seems to control the LEDs that provide illumination at night. If you look at the illustration, you can see the two LEDs sticking out of this very small board. Again, in the second illustration, the LEDs are at the top. This is the board in question. Can I order this one separately from the chute or not? Thank you, JDan
1 Answer JDan, the manufacturer does not offer the item you are speaking of separate from the extension chute WPW10131128. Thanks. Read More...
Jdan February 15, 2012 for Model Number MFI2568AES The LEDs for the light on the outside of the door started fading and are now so dim they can't be seen. The board that has the LEDs on it is wet! There is corrosion and no doubt that is the reason for the malfunction. Seems like a design flaw. Do I have to purchase a whole new chute extension or can this board be ordered on its own? Thank you, JDan
1 Answer Hello! The board located in the dispenser assembly area is the low voltage ice2o board part number 67006294. Thanks! Read More...
