Dana October 10, 2022 for Model Number WDT730PAHZ0 I removed a 1 time use crimp clamp from the hose connecting to the circ pump. I cannot find a replacment clamp that will fit. It need to be narrow (5mm) and fit snugly on a 35mm hose (that is the diameter of the old clamp). Is this replacement clamp 5mm wide?
1 Answer Dana, the manufacturer recommends the clamp W10789434 for the model provided. Unfortunately, the width of the clamp band is not provided by the manufacturer. Read More...
Mike August 28, 2021 for Model Number W10789434 (AP5971447) I am trying to find a 2" screw type hose clamp to fit the rubber hose joining the pump motor to the sump. The problem is the only hose clamps that I can find are too wide: 1/2" wide. Does anyone know the width of this hose clamp W10789434 (AP5971447)? I'd like to see if it is the same width as the old crimp-style hose clamp that I remove.
1 Answer Mike, unfortunately, the manufacturer does not show the width for the hose clamp W10789434. However, based on the 1" grid, it looks to be about 3/8". Read More...

Lennie K. September 27, 2015 for Model Number KUDE70FXPA3 Water leaks out of the pressure end of the pump. The clamps provided were not tight enough. They fit the rubber adapter by being 5mm wide. I can not find a replacement for my existing rubbers. The pump should have been barbed. I have looked for a 5mm wide clamp and can not find one. Suggestions?
1 Answer Hello Lennie, There is a service bulletin out on this issue released in 2012. It basically says: Replace existing outlet Hose Clamp with new service replacement clamp using Kit # W10548435 W10548435. Be certain to follow the instructions included with the kit. Read More...
Tabby March 10, 2014 for Model Number wdt910sayh0 I had to replace a sump due to leaking from a motor shaft that goes thru the sump, and the grommet that makes the seal is attached to the sump, I say that to say this...I had pull the main motor and it had one time use clamps on it. I ordered these clamps and when they arrived they appeared a little large, but were slightly adjustable. Based on research they are a stepless screw clamp with a (45) on them. I put the clamps on in the smallest adjustment and i felt they were not tight enough, as they were snug but not tight. Got everything put back together, turned on, and my feelings were correct, the clamp couldn't be tightened enough to form a good seal(gushed water as soon as it kicked on). Needless to say these clamps will not work for me. Does anyone have any ideas, screw type clamps from major retailers are too wide, and no auto parts has anything that will work? Any help would be appreciated!
1 Answer Sorry Tabby. We are not sure which clamps you need if they are not shown on the parts diagram for your model number. Read More...
