Hello Ann, The fault code F8E2 is a drain motor electrical problem. This can include a loose connection in the Drain Motor circuit and/or open Drain Motor winding, Debris stuck in the drain motor impeller, an open fuse on the control to Drain Motor, or the Drain Motor Drive circuit on the control. It is suggested these things be checked before replacing any parts. Another thing to check before part replacement is to remove the kick panel with the power off to the unit and open the power connection box at the upper right of the machine compartment. Make sure there are no loose or burned wire nuts.
