Questions & Answers

For Whirlpool Electronic Control Board (Part Number: OEM18038313)

Hi Tina. First verify proper voltage at the terminal block for 240 vac between the outer red and black wires . Then you need to verify from each of these wires there is 120 vac from both of them to the center neutral white wire. Once this is established, then the question is do you have it at the controls ? Is the clock Led's lighting up ? Can you program it for a command ? Is the top working ?There is also a power relay in the same area part # WP8566493. It is used for the top elements. If so then you can find the high limit switch to see if it ohms closed. It is mounted on top of the unit or on the back. Part # WP7450P034-60. If it is open then you can jump these 2 wires momentarily to see if you now can get the oven elements to work. Let us know how we can assist. you further. Thank You.
