The Dishrack is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool dishwashers. It measures 21" wide x 21" deep. It provides a stable framework for organizing and holding dishes, glasses, utensils, and other items during the washing cycle. Designed to fit securely in the dishwasher, it ensures proper water flow and cleaning efficiency for all loaded items.

Causes of a bad Dishrack can include prolonged exposure to high temperatures and moisture, leading to rust or corrosion, damage to the coating from sharp utensils, or bending or breaking due to heavy or improperly loaded items. Over time, these issues can compromise its functionality.

Symptoms of a bad Dishrack include:

  • Rust or peeling coating on the rack
  • Broken or bent tines that can’t hold dishes properly
  • Difficulty sliding the rack in and out of the dishwasher

This OEM Whirlpool part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

Dennis Z. for Model Number whirlpool du1200xl3

I received the lower rack assembly today (order 11206469). Watched the video several times but it is IMPOSSIBLE to attach/insert the movable tine piece because the configuration of the lower rack is different from what is shown in your video. (there is no gap in the vertical post between the wheel assemblies). it seems Whirlpool changed the configuration but you didn't check it against the video. I now have a movable tine piece (#4) that can't be installed. What do I do now?

Dennis, The W10161215 / W10161215 Lower Dishwasher Rack, is the correct part for the model number you supplied. It is a "factory direct replacement part", it may look different but will function in your machine properly. The manufacturer redesigned the lower rack, again, some 4 to 5 years ago and eliminated the adjustable tine and clips. The video you referred to is 6 to 8 years old and may be removed as the information is no longer relevant. you may want to discard the old tine and clip, as it will no longer fit or operate in the rack, as the original tine did. Thanks,

Barb, you most likely have a DU810DWGQ1 dishwasher, the W11169039 / W11169039 Dishrack, would be the correct upper dishwasher rack to order for your dishwasher. Thanks,

Tina

I have a Kenmore Ultra Wash Dishwasher, Model # 665.13263K112. Type # 582-1. I need two front roller wheels for the bottom drawer basket and clips with screws that hold the machine in place with the undercabinet, to secure the dishwasher while the machine is on. I am not sure as to what happened, but the dishwasher is now higher than the undercabinet space. Maybe from the unstable bouncing it did while running when it was not attached to the undercabinet since the screws came out. Maybe it made the adjustable feet ride up to make the dishwasher itself taller. Now the door won't shut so I can't use my dishwasher. Have you ever heard of this happening? Can the clips be moved around or is there a set place for them to be attached to the machine? The hole in the undercabinet may be worn out and may be the reason why the screws fell out in the first place. Would you have a solution to this as well?, Thank you in advance for all of your help.

Tina, The undercounter bracket will be WP8269145 and the screws would be WP308685. For this issue you would want to adjust the legs to get it down and then reinstall the unit properly with the brackets and the screws. The lower dishrack wheel assembly will be part number W10195416V.

Joe, the two hooks would have to be transferred. As far as the rack impeding the soap dispenser, it should not stop the door from opening as this is a direct replacement rack made by the manufacturer.
