The Ice Chute Door is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool side-by-side refrigerators. It provides access to the dedicated ice and water storage and dispensing compartment located on the refrigerator door.

Causes of a faulty chute door can include normal wear from frequent use. Internal temperature fluctuations may cause durability issues over several years.

Symptoms of problems include:

  • Failure to fully close or form a tight seal
  • Difficulty dispensing ice or water due to door misalignment
  • Premature cooling loss from unsealed opening
  • Physical damage preventing proper closing

This OEM door is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore side-by-side refrigerators.

I'm sorry but the manufacturer has no printed instructions on the installation and the service guide does not cover this repair. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.
