Then check and make sure there isn't anything on or in the rack tracks, Nothing stuck in the back of the tub behind or below the racks, Then remove the outer door panel, and check the hinges, the door support panel and hinge pins/frame for damage or distortion at/near the top of the door panel. David July 19, 2017 for Model Number GU2500XTPB3 My dishwasher has to be pushed to complete cycles. I removed the door switch to check operation and the springs do not seem to be weak. Typically will soak and run for 10 mins and then have to hold door closed for 2 mins to drain. Stiff shower rod will hold door closed and dishwasher operates properly.

1 Answer Hello Rick, Turn the power off to the unit and verify no voltage is present. Remove the screws around the perimeter of the door and lift the door liner out of the way. Now when you look at the door latch there will be one screw holding it in position. Remove the wires and connect them to the new switches after they are positioned properly in the door latch assembly. Be sure when you put the new door latch in position that you only put in the one screw to the left because the screw on the right has to pass through the door liner also. Mary July 15, 2013 for Model Number MDB5130AWB My dishwasher works fine except it keeps stopping midcycle. The dishwasher restarts when I push on the door, but then it stops again,so I have to keep pushing on the door several times during the cycle to get it to finish. Rc June 11, 2013 for Model Number KUDS01DLSS1 The fill valve only receives 40 volts. The. Unit received 120 volts, with continuity in both fill valve + over fill switch. The control looks to be in good shape, but I cannot access door panel. Any suggestions as to where the resistance is + how to access wires within it. Thanks. RC
1 Answer RC, The fill valve should have a resistance value of between 890 and 1090. You will want to check this from the control board from connector P2 pin 3 to Connector P10. This will also trace the circuit to make sure that there are no broke wires. To access the control board you will remove the screws around the perimeter of the inner door. Also check to make sure that the board is sending power through the same pins to the water valve. If not then the control is bad and if so then there is a wiring issue. Read More...
